A number of Mississippi State University students and faculty members have worked closely with the Starkville Police Department (SPD) on a variety of projects over the past two years. Projects include creating promotion exams for SPD, imbedding robots in SPD Special Operations training, and providing both undergraduate and graduate interns to SPD for mutually beneficial relationships. Panelists will discuss these and other collaborative relationships from both the town (SPD) and gown (Mississippi State University) perspective.
