HPC MSU

Undergraduate Education at the HPC²

The HPC² contributes to the undergraduate educational mission of the University in a number of ways. For example,

  • Undergraduate Research Assistants enrich their educational experience by working on projects that advance their state of knowledge beyond what they learn in classrooms. Typically, some 25 undergraduates are involved in HPC² research at any given time.
  • Faculty engaged in leading-edge research carry their unique insights and perspectives into the classroom. Many HPC² researchers teach undergraduate courses in regular academic departments.
  • Research faculty often serve as mentors for undergraduate interns, who come from universities and colleges around the nation, as well as MSU.

Undergraduation admissions information may be found at the Mississippi State University Office of Admissions and Scholarships website.
