HPC MSU

Graduate Education at the HPC²

The HPC² is home to graduate students from virtually all branches of engineering, as well as computer science, mathematics, and physics. The HPC² benefits from the work of the graduate students, and the graduate students profit from the financial support and research opportunities afforded by the HPC² and the associated research units.

In addition to providing these research opportunities for students in traditional disciplines, the HPC² is also home to a unique interdisciplinary program in Computational Engineering (CmE). Established in 1991, the curriculum prepares students for research and development careers where the power of computational simulation is brought to bear on problems of design and analysis.
