Research Interest: Prajwal Mohanmurthy’s research interests are centered around test of standard model and fundamental symmetries in search of physics beyond the standard model. He is interested in applying methods of nuclear physics to understand the transitions from perturbative to non- perturbative regimes of Quantum Chromo Dynamics (QCD) and probing the onset of trends predicted by QCD. He also focuses on understanding the quark structure of the nucleons. His recent research involvement has been geared towards a search for Axionic Dark Matter and paraphotons using photon re-generation method. He is involved in R & D to develop novel instrumentation and detectors for future collider facilities such as the Electron Ion Collider where the search of physics beyond standard model can be taken to a new frontier.

Hobbies:In his free time, Prajwal enjoys reading science fiction novels and biking long distances over weekends. He also enjoys learning and playing on his guitar.
