| Biography: | Grew up in the northern Philippines, attended a science high school, completed BSc degree in 3 years with honors. A PhD in computer science, specializing in parallel computing.
With two years experience as independent contractor, ten years of full-time research experience, and ten years of university teaching & administration experience. Proven ability to work with peers from other disciplines in collaborative research.
Created software tools currently used by colleagues working on national-priority projects, and software for enrollment planning currently used by university administrators in the Philippines.
