|Biography:||Wilburn has a background in fabrication and experimental design applied to to high rate phenomena, automotive component testing, and materials characterization. During this time he became involved with the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems (CAVS) by aiding in the improvement of Hopkinson bar testing as well as well as high rate instrumentation. He was then named the 2010 Bagley Undergraduate Researcher of the year being recognized at the college and university level. Wilburn later joined CAVS in the fall of 2010 after receiving his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University (MSU). He has sense provided the development of experimental equipment and software and provided experimental methods on a number of government and private projects.|
